“Working with the vets reconnected me to my purpose as a healer and my passion for service.”

We are always looking to collaborate with good and dedicated holistic medical providers who are excited to work with our combat vets here in the Rogue Valley.

Volunteering for the Courageous Heart Foundation is an amazingly rewarding experience.  For one we get to help our combat veterans who are suffering.  Many folks believe that soldiers work for the government so the government should take care of them, but this is not happening as it should.

Many veterans are suffering and struggling without help or hope.  Though we only get to spend a few hours with them a month, the feedback we get is humbling and it is inspiring to know that we can touch a person’s life in a profound way in such a short period of time.

As healers most of us practice medicine for a fee.  Often we are separated from the care and compassion that led us to our chosen fields, caught up in the day to day operations and financial stress of insurance, billing, collections, and all the other un-fun parts of our job.

Many of our volunteers say that working with the vets help to reconnect them to their purpose as healers and passion for service.
